Butterfly Wishes for Ellie is an annual event in honor of Ellie Tavani, a beautiful little girl who was born in April 2006 with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Money raised at this event will benefit the Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association of America (DebRA).

Our goal is to raise $25,000 that DebRA will use for research funding and to assist other families like ours who are dealing with the daily struggle of EB.
DebRA provides funding for research of EB and support of families who suffer from the disease. Donations and tickets to the event are tax deductible.

Soak in the spring weather under the big tent on the green while you enjoy music from Ed Roland, Will Turpin, and Joel Kosche of Collective Soul! River Revival will also kick off the Save the Hooch campaign sponsored by SweetWater Brewery to raise funds and awareness for Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (UCR).

Ticket price ($40 in advance by May 12/$55 at the door) includes amazing food, complimentary beer brewed by Park Tavern and SweetWater, wine and soft drinks, silent auction, music (of course!), and a one-year membership in UCR.

For 2008 the Atlanta Wine School is rolling out a 20 session series of chic, fun and loose tastings. Each tasting features at least six wines to try in Riedel stemware with light appetizers. Wine educators will be on hand for you to grab, but they won't be hijacking you to listen. The idea here is to create an easy going social environment with awesome wines to experience. And perhaps a little education will follow.
